Hello Homeowners:
The votes have been counted 82 for and 13
against, according to the restrictions to make any changes
to any of our documents we need not less than 90% of the lot
owners to be affirmative. We received an affirmative
percentage of 87 therefore we cannot do anything in the way
of change. We will meet as a board on January 12th at which
time we will be considering where we go from here. In
talking with some of the other members we do not want to be
merely "enforcers" of the restrictions.
Change is funny thing, if sometimes it is not embraced it
can rear it's ugly head and make situations that could have
managed and make them unmanageable. At this point the metal
building issue is not approachable, the tool shed issue is
not approachable, and anything else that does not follow the
letter of the restrictions is not approachable.
I again am disappointed in the participation only 64 votes
returned. For those who voted against the measure to avoid a
change may find yourself smack in the middle of a change we
can do nothing about. I am quite certain not many of us want
to be in a bitter battle with our neighbors, with no
preventive maintenance that could happen on several levels.
We are at a crossroads and will keep you posted as to the
future!
Thank You & Happy Holidays
