Fellow Homeowners:
II am certain by now all have heard about the proposed rock
quarry to our East on 36. I was notified on Saturday and
have voiced discontent with anyone at City Hall that will
listen. I will be attending the Council meeting this
Thursday and if the Council will take dialog form those in
attendance I will voice my opinion. If you have an opinion
you can email the City Secretary from the City website and
she will ensure the appropriate players are notified.
I received some calls on M&M Disposal as to whether they
were a viable company or not. They approached Jay about
providing services for us at reduced rate so we sent the
letter as courtesy simply to give everyone the chance to
make their own decision. According to the City of Rogers
they do an outstanding job. I think several in our neighbor
have decided to give them a try. I hope it turns out to be a
good deal for all involved. They asked I make it a point to
notify those of you not on their service you will not be
able to take advantage of the quarterly central debris
pickup they will provide.
We have everything fixed at the front gate form the
vandalism thanks to Kit and Don for their efforts!
Please for those of you that have easements and common areas
the maintenance is your responsibility. Things are starting
to grow and those areas can help or hurt the overall
appearance of our neighborhood.
I have one small request, The number most everyone uses to
contact me is my cell phone. The last few calls I have
received have been during working hours and I have been with
policyholders. Please make sure it is a good time for me. I
do not mind you calling me at all! I would greatly
appreciate some latitude if I am with someone.
I wish each of you a great Spring and Summer, Those that
have graduates Congratulations! and be safe during vacations
and outdoor activities.
Thanks!!!
